Argentina - Aconcagua 2015

Climbing to the summit of Aconcagua in Argentina @ 22,841 ft high!!! Highest point on earth outside of the Himalayas and 2nd highest of the 7 Summits.

Finally it all paid off after months of training and 13 days of hiking about 75 miles thru the Andes in 90 degree to well below freezing temps with almost constant 20-60+ mph bone chilling winds! Camping and hiking at 16,500' - 19,700' for a over a week before making the final 8 hr push to the summit.

Conditions on summit day were near perfect considering how gnarly it usually is up there.
Indescribably incredibly beautiful view and feeling that neither photos nor or words come close to conveying. Fortunately I made it thru the expedition with zero health problems or injuries which is a miracle in its self given the conditions. It was quite a test of physical and mental endurance that was probably one of the toughest things I have ever done but SOO worth it!

If you put your mind to it you can do anything!!
Thanks to everyone who inspired, helped, and supported me along the way. Couldn't have done it alone!
Over 400 photos in rough chronological order of the expedition. Enjoy!
